Some cool new releases on the 7th of april. I Suspect these are all released by Alliance.

Chasing Amy
Knockaround Guys
Man Apart, A
Reindeer Games
Running Scared
Trainspotting

Looks like these are $18.19CA

If this is true, I am in for Chasing Amy and Running Scared. Hopefully they might put some extras on Amy, Smith's extras are always fantastic.

I am intersted in Chasing Amy and Reindeer Games. Reindeer Games only if it is the Director's Cut. Chasing Amy was released by Criterion in the U.S. and maybe they are going to bring it out, too, soon.

Alliance had zero extras on their Sin City and From Dusk Till Dawn releases, so I am a bit careful with their stuff. I will have to double-dip Sin City now and I don't want to do that all the time!

Alliance is usually good for it, but are all of these confirmed to be region free? Or at least, Boiler Room and Chasing Amy?

DEFINITELY getting those two if they are!

Good news, glad to see more catalogue titles. Out of this batch, there aren't many I'm interested in... May just get Boiler Room & A Man Apart, which I thought were decent flicks.

DEFINITELY getting those two if they are!

We won't know until someone literally checks their disc after release. Many discs from them recently have been Region A.

Got a glimpse of the back covers for some of these upcoming discs, here's what is stated on 'em:

Boiler Room - 1.85:1, 1080p, 120 mins
Chasing Amy - 1.78:1, 1080p, 113 mins
Knockaround Guys - 2.35:1, 1080p, 92 mins
Man Apart, A - 1.78:1(incorrect ratio, was 2.35:1 in theatres & on DVD), 1080p, 105 mins
Reindeer Games - 1.78:1(incorrect ratio, was 2.35:1 in theatres & on DVD), 1080p, 104 minute theatrical cut... sorry guys.
Running Scared - 1.78:1 (incorrect ratio, was 2.35:1 in theatres & on DVD), 1080i (!!), 122 mins
Trainspotting - 1.78:1, 1080p, 94 mins

No extras, and all Region A locked. Some of the above info will need to be confirmed later, & I'm hoping all the incorrect ratios aren't true! But it does look like they're just packaging the HD broadcast versions. They all still state Region 1...

The only one I want is Boiler Room and it says 1080p and 1.85:1 which should be the correct ratio so I'll be happy to pick this up.
