Step Bros is great if you like Farrell, Sex Drive is a solid comedy that is basically a combo of Road Trip and Superbad and Wanted was a pretty sweet action film. I haven't seen any thing else but I'm definitely looking forward to Eagle Eye and Hamlet 2.

I agree Stop-Loss was a fantastic film, and it's a shame its not on blu.

MUST GET:

- In Bruges
- Nick & Norah (fantastic!)
- Wanted
- Mamma Mia (be warned there is a lot of singing and cheesy moments)

Step Brothers & Eagle Eye are solid B movies.

I plan to buy Wanted, tho' I'm more interested in the packaging (for work reference). I did see it in theatres and thought it was a typically nonsensical but enjoyable action flick. I haven't see the others, most are not my type if flick, but my sister and her fiancé told me this weekend that they regretted watching Eagle Eye. It was his choice to see it, so as payback he had to watch The Duchess.

Only one I'd personally consider there is Wanted and even then I'm not sure.

I like In Bruges quite a bit and will get that on Blu. I picked it up used at Block Buster on DVD so far. The other ones I would hesitate to even rent, but thats just me.

Must be nice to have disposable income to blind buy like that.

Us kids-n-mortgage guys gotta make careful decisions about the titles we purchase.

I very rarely blind buy, always trying to see the film first.

Wanted was a real surprise for me. I saw it purely because I had lots of free cinema tickets to use up. I enjoyed it much more than I expected to. I will probably buy it as a film that would get an airing 2 or 3 times a year.

Wanted is probably the only title there that you'll ever watch more than once. Gotta think about replay value!

The budgeting side shows again...

Most of those are rentals IMHO. The only one I'd consider picking up is HAMLET 2. I'd rather watch the "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" number on a continuous loop rather than watch a second of MAMA MIA! STEP BROTHERS is also pretty funny, although I think TROPIC THUNDER is the best R-rated comedy of the year. And I'd skip EAGLE EYE if I were you. Caruso and Co. go from a Hitchcock knock-off to a Hitchcock pastiche with HAL thrown into the mix. GET SMART did that climax so much better than EAGLE EYE.

I'd say rent/skip all except for Wanted, Mama Mia, and Step Brothers.

The only ones I would consider are Hamlet 2 and Nick and Norah.

Steps Bros. was descent but found it to be a bit annoying (and I like Will Ferrell movies)

Wanted was kind of lame to me.

Sex Drive had its moments but most of it was a been there done that. Seth Green was funny in it though.

Mamma Mia! was so poorly executed I almost walked out of the theatre. I'm a huge musical fan too but it was just a mess in direction (my opinion).

Hamlet 2 is the funniest movie I've seen this year. It's a lot like Hot Fuzz, the first half is front loaded for a big 2nd half pay off.
