ps3 emualtion on a pc?

im am just curious about it dose the emulation work threw linux on the ps3 too? if so could u not just change it to pc format or is it fine tuned for the ps3?

You mean PS emulation on a PC?

Erm... The last console to be emulated on a PC was the SNES... They are working hard on a PS2 emulator but... No success I'm afraid.

There are emulators for recent consoles but... They are regarded as incomplete, full of errors and bugs... Etc etc, you can find a lot of information on this subject on the net btw.

i know but but the euro ps3 use emulation for playstation 1 and 2 games and the emulation is included with update 1.6 so couldent u just tweek the program for pcs? or is the program only ment to work with the ps3?

I think the reason why you are able to play to ps1 and ps2 games is because sony has the procesors for those system or something like in in the ps3 that allows you to play those games if i heard that correctly.

American and Japanese Consoles have a PS2 processor inside. The european PS3 doesn't but ps2 and ps1 games still work on it.

It think it is finely tuned for The playsation3. Thats all i can think of. PC's are very different to the ps3 even though the ps3 supports linux. The ps3 is made to support linux but PC's arnt made to support ps 1 and 2 games. Its all to do with hardware.
