Whoa I voted before I read, I assumed it would be for movies for the PS3 like they were supposed to get. I really don't think digital copies for games is that feasable. Look at all the people already trying to sell thier digital copies of movies.

No. I see no point to them. They would be more work for everyone: Sony, developers, publishers, QA, everyone. And then Sony would have to release new standards pertaining to just them, and devs have to comply, and everything's just going to take longer and cost more.
And all for what? The payoff would be insignificant, if there's any at all. |

I think a PS3 is a PS3, and a PSP is not a portable PS3. What works on a PS3 as a game is different than what works as a portable game to play.
So if there are ever any digital copies, they'd essentially have to be separate games that are designed to play on a PSP, yet somehow tied to the PS3 game. This would mean more work for the developers, and more work doesn't come at no cost. Either they charge more for the game, or you wait longer for it, or they spend less time on the PS3 game, to make the PSP one. I say keep the games and systems separate. |

For two games? That's not how it works. I would pay $65 for the same game twice, except the second one is going to be a digital copy. What is the benefit of that? A game isn't like a sandwich; it's not going to disappear after I use it.

wouldn't work. If you essentially want to play Dead space on your ps3 and than have a "digital copy" to play on your PSP, it's just not to going to work. You're still developing two games on two different platforms for the same price as just as the game as before? Way too much work / time / cost and problems ahead.

I don't see how it could be done, but if it could yeah! why not? I havn't bought a psp game since a year 'cause I've moved and dont use subway or bus anymore and when I want to play a game, why not on the PS3 instead of the PSP? (for the game you actually have the choice like lego batman...)
