Well you will have to bitstream out DTS HD anyways, and I am sure the Onkyo will convert the signal better then the BDP you have so I would say let the Onkyo do the decoding.

So my settings for my 606 will be like this
Analog/PCM = Direct
Dolby Digital = Dolby Digital
DTS = DTS
D.F. 2Ch = PLIIx Movie
D.F. Mono = Mono Movie
Multich PCM = Multich
192k/176.4k = Direct
Dolby TrueHD = Dolby TrueHD
DTS-HD Master Audio = DTS-HD MSTR
DSD = DSD
the receiver shows dd true hd when i was watching iron man but when i clicked display on my sony-bdp s350 it shows dolby true hd 3/2.1 48khz.
Is this the best setting available or am i missing something in my settings. and by the way iron man looks awesome on my tv.

Hey melocubs, I have the same speakers and player as you. But I have the 605. If the 606 is showing True HD then it is receiving that signal from the player. You are using an HDMI cable right?
