Default How about a AVCHD dedicated forum ?

I would like to see a forum dedicated to AVCHD ...

Since most blu ray players will play avchd discs it would make a nice addition.

topics easily would be :

Video editing
Re- rendering
making playable dvd's in avchd's via Hauppage HD - PVR

stuff like that...

I just got the Hauppage HD PVR for Christmas. I have only recorded a couple TV programs with it so far and from what I have seen it looks really nice. I think this would be a good idea. I do a little video stuff on the side for people I know (transferring VHS home movies to DVDs, making DVD slide shows for special occasions etc.) but I haven't gotten into editing any HD video, except for the deleting of commercials from the shows I recorded. The Total Media Extreme program that comes with the Hauppage to make AVCHD Discs isn't very precise, but I guess I can live with it.

But anyway, I am all for it or if anyone knows of any other forum dedicated to this, I would like to know.
