You should have seen all the "When is Transformers/Star Wars/Lord of the Rings?" threads that popped up on these forums between mid 2007-mid 2008.

Gladiator may, and i say may, get a release this year. Any movie can be released this year so who knows. It is highly unlikely but I would love it if it did. I will continue to think it is not coming until Paramount announces a release date. Just like when Braveheart was rumored to be coming in Jan but that turned out to be false.

Won't believe until there is a press release.

We might see some news regarding those two films in CES.

All I can say is I became just a little happy by that. I wait patiently for CES now. Hopefully there is a TON of good concrete announcements coming out of CES.
