Default What is the best BD out right now?

As far as PQ/SQ is concerned. I own 27 and I would have to say Casino Royale is the best.

I have Rocky Balboa but a few of scenes in the ring at the end were horribly done using a blue screen. I know thats not the BD's fault but it put me off of it.

Default Anything animated.

I would have to say that anything animated looks amazing (Ice Age, Open Season, Happy Feet, etc.)

for real people... Superman Returns (shot in HD) is extremely impressive, Identity was superb, Black Hawk Down... to name a few.

Hope that helps.

Crank is certainly one of the best, if not the best, live action BD so far. Prestige and Casino looked great as well, but i think Crank looked better.

I have 131 Blu-rays and Rocky Balboa is one of them. I have to say Rocky Balboa is INCREDIBLE on Blu-ray. Including the end. I don't know if it's your TV or player or what, but mine is INCREDIBLE all the way till the end.

I don't even really like the movie, but I saw previews for it and it looked amazing, so I got it. It's called Pearl Harbor. This movie is so godly in HD I can't even believe it. I have many BD, but none match to this one. I've never watched the whole thing, just the sceen where those damn japs bomb us, but it is what I show when people come over and have never seen HD before. It's GODLY in my perspective.

IMO Crank is the best Blu-Ray Disc, in terms of how good the image looks.

I use Disney's The Wild to show off the excellence of Blu-Ray. Happy Feet is excellent as well BUT the characters of The Wild are furry (lions, giraffe, koala) and you can show your viewers the details in their fur. You can see every strand! The lion cub is amazing! Check it out.

Casino Royale definatly the best to date, not to mention Sony sent it out for free. I have found Hitch Hickers Guide to the Galaxy on BD to be a big improvement over DVD.
