Very nice setup, just one thing, tell me that your PS3 is not always on your sub? That is so bad for it...

I don't have any other place to put my PS3, but I'll certainly find a new place for it. Thanks for the information.

The vibrations from the sub can damage the hard drive.

Not only that, but the disk bouncing around while spinning is not good. We pay allot of money for our Blu and Games. Move that beast and fast!

I started this tread as RyanDunn1977 and I am now Aholland06. I was wondering where you would suggest me putting the PS3 if not on the subwoofer. Use the pics above for reference.

Agreed. Anywhere is better than the sub. Preferably the stand that your receiver are on if possible

How many people have we seen with their PS3 on their sub? I'm not trying to start anything, but I thought it would be common sense not to put your piece of valuable electronics on something is the cause of so many vibrations.

I guess I just wasn't thinking and I saw a nice flat surface and didn't think about the rubble from the subwoofer. I am currently debating on where to place the PS3. The bottom of the entertainment center is full b/c the Polk center speaker is lifted up slightly by a painted wooden door wedge and the PS3 is too tall to stand on its side next to the speaker. Any suggestions?

How hot does the satellite box get? You could possibly set it vertically on it.

Another place would be next to the stand on the floor grate. Or move the whole setup over a bit and put it on the floor between the stand and floor grate.

I had a second Sapphire Subwoofer (same as the model and brand currently being used) lying around in the basement so I put it next to the Front right speaker a put the PS3 on it b/c im not gunna hook up the subwoofer. i just want it there so the PS3 has something to sit on.

Put the subwoofer on the other side of the TV stand, then put the PS3 on it's side.

If you want, they do sell stands that will hold the PS3 on the side a little bit better then on it's own.

Excellent budget theater.

Do you have room for the PS3 standing vertically behind the TV? It will work fine hidden behind something since it's all Bluetooth.
