Got my first one in November of '06. Just bought my 2nd one on Thursday. I bought it so that I could watch my blu-rays in the bedroom. Falling asleep on the couch was killing my back. lol

Now I'm hoping that this prompts my girlfriend to buy a new tv for the bedroom as well so that we can enjoy it to its full potential. *fingers crossed*

Three. One in my room, one in my oldest daughters room, and one in my middle childs room. Mine definitely gets played the most though.

If I thought I could get away with putting one in my son's room without my girlfriend killing me I would. It would be a tough sell though b/c my son just turned 2 years old and it would be hard to justify. lol

I hope your kids are older, and if not, what is your secret?

At two years old, they get the old Nintendo 64 or a V-smile.

My kids are older. Oldest daughter is 14 and middle is 12. My youngest, 8, is old enough for her own PS3, but she likes her Wii and has a standalone BD player for movies already.

I'll probably buy my parents a regular blu-ray player as soon as they buy a real HDTV. Right now they own a 51" Hitachi HD compatible. My 32" Sharp Aquos makes theirs look like one of those old fashioned rabbit ear tv.

Will be picking up a second in the next month. For a bedroom player of course. will probably pick up the 160gig and move the noisier Motor storm 80gig to the bedroom. Just waiting another a week or to pick up another panny plasma for the bedroom. So now I gotta decide on the '08 42" 1080p or the '09 42" 720p.

Cos my 5 year old duaghter used to hog mine all the time so i got her one then my wife decided she liked ps3 as well so i got her one now all happy except for my visa card is sad lol

Perhaps because you have friends? Or others living with you?

A single PS3 is fun, but multiple PS3's on a lan with your friends is a total blast.
