Cool, I love Rankin/Bass! I have four of their Christmas specials and The Last Unicorn on Blu-ray already. I haven't seen this film though, but I will definitely check it out before the Blu-ray comes out.

This wasn't a television special. This was a feature film released by Embassy. True, in the 1970s and 80s it was shown on local stations, where it developed a cult following but it was never designed as a holiday special.

This is awesome I never thought that this would make it to blu-ray and now I cant wait to get it in September lots of great Halloween/fall themed movies being released this year and $10.49 for this is a steal. I paid $15 for the DVD when first released now I can sell that off cant wait to see this Halloween classic in HD

The price went up on Amazon from $10.49 to $13.49. I had it pre-ordered at $10.49 but cancelled the pre-order hoping it would show up in my Gold Box. It didn't, and now I'm hoping the price comes back down. That's what I get for trying to save a few more pennies.

Can you guys help me by submitting DeepDiscount.com's best price of $10.90 to Amazon to see if they will lower the price again?

Also, just in case anyone is not aware, once you cancel an Amazon order it is gone for good. I chatted to try to get them to "restore" my old order, but they can't do that. I always thought I could use that as my back-up plan when cancelling a pre-order to try to get it in my Gold Box (if it didn't show up an then the price went up), but now I know it won't work.
