Death Race Blind Buy - Blu-ray Forum

I was thinking about picking up Death Race on Blu-Ray.

I get alot of different opinions on it.

Is it worth a buy? Or rent?

I bought it blind, and I am keeping it. I don't keep a lot. My wife liked it, even. If you like Road Warrior and similar movies, you will like it.

I did the same. Purchased the movie without having seen it, and really liked it. A fun action packed film with great action sequences.

I'm 100% against blind buying, but I'll give my blessing here, as I absolutely loved Death Race.

Death Race was a blind buy for me and I thought it was quite entertaining. I'll definitely be watching it multiple times.

What is the alternative is for blind buying? Renting, or seeing at the movies? In either case, both of those options are just too much hassle for me.

If you like fun, violence, car crashes, guns, and racing in your movies then you'll love this one. I loved every minute of it. I would compare it to Crank or Shoot Em Up as far as just fun and crazy.

Death Race is a very fun popcorn flick. I just watched it tonight for the second time with a friend. My friend also really enjoyed it and I think it will be on his short list of movies to purchase. Great BD too with respect to PQ/SQ.

I suggest renting it for now. If you really love it that much, you will always be able to buy it much cheaper later.
