Default Final 60hz/120hz 24p discussion

ok i got a sharp aquos d64u model... which does 24p at 48hz, as well as the aquos player that outputs the 24p signal...

there are only 2 lcd's i know that do 24p at 48hz (2:2 pulldown) a sony, and this sharp..the rest do 120hz when given a 24p signal..

first off, is there a benefit to watching in 24p (48hz) as opposed to 60hz as far as motion goes... and dont just say yes, cuz it doesnt have to do 3:2 pulldown.

there is a hefty chunk of motion blur, in 48hz and 60hz while watching blu-ray...

am i correct in saying.. 24p at 48hz will remove judder, but yet add additional motion blur simply because its running at a mere 48 frames per second?

and with that being said, can someone elaborate on what motion blur is and looks like compared to judder?

and finally am i correct in saying the only real benefit to 24p is to do it at 120hz (5:5 pulldown) to eliminate both judder and motion blur?

thanks for reading i appreciate it
