Default SONY STR-DG820 video input question.
My SONY STR-DG820 is in the mail, and it should arrive sometime tomorrow. I do know that it is not capable of analog video (such as component) via HDMI so I have to run a component cable from the receiver to the television. My question: Besides a clean, single analog output going from the receiver to the television from several analog devices (such as Wii and a VCR), is there any video advantage with the STR-DG820 when connecting analog devices to the receiver instead of straight to the television, by-passing the receiver?
