I honestly never even noticed that this section so I figured I'd start my own thread as everyone else has done. This is my current setup as of right now. The actual equipment is listed in my signature. I'll post new pics of my collection in my gallery once I get my new shelf in March.

UPDATE

After I decided to make my living room larger I did some tinkering with my setup. Finished it today and I think it looks 10 times better than the old stand. I have the 55" Panasonic wall mounted onto a swivel that comes out from the wall about 3', which also allows me to turn it to anywhere in the room. This can be seen better in the 2nd picture below. I am extremely satisfied with it and I'll be putting a cable cover on the wall in the next few weeks to take care of the space between the shelf and the receiver.

Update. Got some zip ties and took care of the cable issues.

It looks great the cable ties really do clean up the look. Have you considered running your cables through the wall or using racetrack to cover the cables?

How does your system sound when the screen is down and the screen covers the speakers?

It may be the pics, but I think that your tv looks mounted kinda high. Have you thought about a floating shelf? I think that it would add an elegant look to your HT.

Yeah, I am going to get one of those track covers eventually.

It sounds just as impressive even when the screen is down.

Actually, it's not too high at all. When someone sits at the couch their heads actually comes up slightly higher than the top of it. So, the angle is somewhere probably around 10-15 degrees. I really like it because it's comfortable on the neck with the thick padding of the back of the couch.

I Know what you mean. That's why my thread for my HTs is named "Open Box". Everything is either used or an "open box" item from Best Buy etc. Heck, my Project Debut III TT was $39.99.

I asked about how it sounds because your screen doesn't seem to be an AT screen. I often wondered how speakers would sound behind a regular screen.

Your TV placement sounds ideal. Sounds like a great place to sit and take in a movie. Great Job!!

Doesn't matter where it comes from, nor how long it takes to get to where you want to be. The only thing that matters is the smile you have when YOU ENJOY a movie or few!!!!!

Maybe I should take a bunch of pics of action figures and dolls. That's what seems to get the most attention around here although I have no clue why.
