Keep in mind, that these are the Alliance releases and may not be as content filled as the releases coming from Disney.

I'm getting these from Columbia House for a bit cheaper but it seems not as good of a savings as usual. These will likely be the same content for the main feature (likely exactly the same encode) but I suspect they will not include any special features. Personally I have no problem with that and would rather pay less to just get the movie with the best PQ and AQ. This will be a good test to verify that they are still using the same encodes for releases in the US and Canada which use different distributors.

I keep waiting for all Blu-ray prices to go up due to the correction in the Cdn/US exchange rate but it has not seemed to happen yet. In fact we're getting some cheaper prices here than the US on some titles.

how do pre-orders work for amazon.ca? i've ordered from them well after a title has been release. my first order took 4 bus days, second one took 5 bus days. is it about the same for pre-orders?
