Gyllenhaal was once again fantastic as usual. Definitely picking this one up.

Yeah.
Good flick.
It's gotta be difficult to make a good boxing movie today, what with trying to make the formula on screen feel original... But this one worked well! Of course, pretty predictable, but still great. Lots of credit goes to the acting and the directing, of course, otherwise, in others hands, this could have ended up cheesy.
Ill be buying the blu

This movie is a classic case of great actors making more out of pedestrian material than it deserved. Great performances in an otherwise trite story.

Hope they do the "early digital code" at Best Buy like the recently did with Mad Max. Works out to be a good deal in my opinion.

I would definitely considered buying the Steelbook and Regular Edition. This film was so good

As long as it includes the James Horner dedication at the end. Some US theatrical prints had it. Other prints - including UK prints - did not.

Looks like Walmart also has the steelbook listed. So maybe the steelbook isn't exclusive to BB?

It was already confirmed the Steelbook isn't an exclusive to any retailer. It's a special limited edition.

Does this movie truly have re-watch value?

I'm not huge into sports movies. I really liked Warrior, but I don't think this is the same...

I didn't like The Wrestler and Cinderella Man was decent.
