Don't bang on BBY for CC's poor business practices...no one ran them out of business but themselves.

I'm hoping the website re-opens so I can buy Dumb and Dumber & King Kong. I tried earlier today but couldn't find a place to enter in my gift card information. I came back a few minutes later to have the site closed and now this.... My CC hasn't received many new catalog titles and they cost more instore

RIP CC, you will be missed.. You were far better to me then Worst-Buy will ever be.

I understand CC is responsible for their own demise. I just hope that BB is more humbled by this than anything.

From what I seen Circuit City's liquidation starts tomorrow, so this means I need to get my butt over to CC and buy something before my cards are no good? That seems like very short notice to me.

Yes, customers holding Circuit City gift cards may redeem them at full value at our stores during the liquidation sales. Once the stores are closed and the company is out of business, the gift cards will have no value."

Stores in liquidation will accept cash, Circuit City gift cards and most credit cards. Personal checks will not be accepted. All sales are final.

well thats a total different scenario than was originally portrayed in the first go around

so they will accept returns and gift cards

Starting the 17th, all sales are final. If a purchase was made before then, you have 14 days to return it. I.E., if you bought something the 10th, you would have until the 24th to return it.
Gift cards can be used until they close the doors for good, then they are worth nada.
