1.85:1 vs. 2.35:1 - Blu-ray Forum

anywhere i can get a list of the movies in 1.85:1? i really do not like the 2.35 even if the movies are good.

Do you not like watching the entire film as the director wanted you to see it?

When i had my plasmas i felt the same way, watching 2.35:1 OAR movies sucked cause you lose so much real estate on the screen! I went to front projection with a 106" screen and now i prefer OAR by a mile.

Forresttheman -

Just use the Zoom button on your remote to fill in the screen more, you'll be cutting off the sides, but thats what they'd do if the studio made it 1.85:1 for you anyway, so no difference.
