Default Anyone seen Robin Williams / Bill Cosby?

They are both coming to my area and I would love to see either of them, have never been to a stand up show.

Are they worth the ticket price?

He made fun of me, which is great. I would say he was surly but never a dick. I would ask him a simple question and then he would talk for about 20 minutes. It was easy.

Cosby was in my area a few years back. i heard his 1st show was good but during his 2nd one he kept checking his watch and didn't deliver like you expected him to. it was like he was tired and didn't want to be there and you could really tell in his performance.

I haven't seen either of those two, but would go for Robin Williams definitely.
Seen some of his specials on DVD and they are just naughty! Exactly the kind of humor that gets me rolling on the floor laughing.

Been to a few that came here like Kevin Smith, Ralphie May, Margaret Cho, and few others. Saw Eddie Izzard in SF - all worth the admission!

Craig Robinson will be here soon (Darryl from The Office).

Well, where was the last place you saw them? Maybe you should check there.

As long as he delivers them in a good way I don't really care.
I mean come on how many comedians that are touring right now did not "steal" at least parts of someone else's show?

I had free tickets to a comedy club in Hermosa Beach, CA. The line-up was an all female comedy group. So I was like...great, it's gonna be a male bashing night. Not looking forward to it.
Well, half way through the first chicks gig, someone from behind the curtain gives her a piece of paper. She then says,"Ladies and gentlemen, ROBIN WILLIAMS".
My brother and I were stunned for like 20 minutes. Here's Robin Williams standing about 8 feet from us and doing his thing. Apparently he likes to show up to small stand up clubs un-announced. He was up there for 2 hours and if you think he's funny on TV/Letterman, you should see him when there are no cameras on him. He talked about his drug haydays and trying to put on a condom under the influence. OMG!!! Fall out of your chair material.

I saw his Broadway show, and I cry each time...but I wouldnt want to see THAT material if I saw him live. I am sure its all new stuff though.
