Default Sega Classics To Be Reborn On PSN?

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/4364.html

Quote:
So far, the PlayStation Network has been an excellent source of both new and innovative products like echochrome and resurrected old-school classics, so considering the latter, can they really ignore Sega?

While it's true that Sega has fallen on hard times and can't seem to produce a decent 3D action game if their lives depended on it, they remain one of the most important companies in video game history. Unfortunately, even when they give us something great in Valkyria Chronicles, the gamers don't respond and Sega is still left languishing behind the heavy-hitters of the new generation. So what better way to remember the good ol' days than to find awesome Sega classics from yesteryear on the PSN? According to DailyGamesNews, the ESRB has rated Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Phantasy Star II, Comix Zone and Gunstar Heroes for distribution on the Network, and this should come as good news to all veteran gamers. These titles are already available on the Wii virtual console, and they'd be fantastic additions to the PSN. The only question left is when they will officially announce them, and how much they will charge for each game...some people are willing to pay more while others are reluctant to go much higher than $9.99.

Anyway, we'll keep a close eye on this and let you know when you can expect them; we're just assuming the ESRB doesn't bother to rate games for a non-existent distribution. And talk about classics! Those four games are some of the most memorable in history!
omg yes!

ok guys..if you haven't played comix zone you are totally missing out on one of the most underrated genesis games ever. be awesome for this to be released on the psn

and sony..we want more of this kind of stuff btw. bring it on
