Default 2009 Slamdance Film Festival Awards' Winners

Mo Perkins' drama "A Quiet Little Marriage" and Zachary Levy's docu "Strongman" picked up top honors at the 15th Slamdance Film Festival Awards Ceremony Friday night.

Audience Awards went to Beth Toni Kruvant's docu "Heart of Stone" and Gregory Viens' comedy "Punching the Clown," which also won the IndieRoad Award. Scribe Neil McGowan won for Best Screenplay for his comedy thriller "Numbered"

Horror pic "I Sell the Dead" nabbed the Best Cinematography honor for Richard Lopez and a Special Jury Mention for Larry Fessenden's performance. The jury also singled out Alison McAlpine's docu "Second Sight."

Slamdance's feature competition is limited to first-time filmmakers working with budgets under $1 million. Winning films will be screened at the IFC Center in New York and the DGA in Los Angeles.
