Default Question for all Pioneer Elite 21 owners

I was wondering if you wished you had went with the Elite 23 over the Elite 21. I was given a good price on both units with a $80 difference and was wondering if it is worth the difference for the Elite23

Differences:

-3 zones instead of 2
-5 hdmi inputs(including one on front of receiver) vs. 4
-2 hdmi outputs vs. 1
-multi-channel PQLS vs Stereo

IMO, the 23 would be better if...

you needed 3 zones of audio
ran a dual display set-up, like tv and projector
Have a pioneer blu-ray player capable of mutli-channel PQLS to remove jidder from digital sources.

P.S. I don't own a Pioneer Reciever.

^I don't own the latest Elite receiver but if I could get all those added features for just $80 then it's a no-brainer. You might not need any of those features now but who knows down the road you might. If you do, it'll be hell of a lot cheaper than getting a new receiver. YMMV.

Im happy with the 21. I got a good deal on it. And I dont need the extra hdmi. Plus I dont own a pioneer elite blu ray player for the multi ch pqls. Besides, I got it to hold me over till I go seperates. Ill get the Emotiva Xmc-1 someday if it ever comes out and once the bugs are worked out of it.

The 23 has Multi-channel PQLS for audio while the 21 has 2-channel. Furthermore, the 23 has an extra HDMI input, but it also has a second HDMI output that the 21 does not have. This can be very handy to have for future use. The 23 also has 3 zones for multi-room use and GUI in support of your display. These really are the biggest differences between the 21 and 23.
