Just found this from bluray-disc.de

Release date is said to be July 1, 2009.

That's weird... for them to re-release a SteelBook of a Blu-ray that's been out since April...
Maybe they want to sail on the success of the sales of Gran Torino.

It is listed bluray-disc.de as a French Import. The French version is already out (so is the German for that matter) so either it is an error, or FNAC (or another French store) is getting some kind of exclusive. I believe it is some kind of error.

Believe that it was bluray-disc.de who got confused, and they had it corrected overnight. No longer a SteelBook for The good, the bad and the ugly

I love the movie, IMHO is the best movie release in steelbook and the blu ray contain the mighty Italian audio

but with no offense, I can't see the French Title

so I'm glad if isn't steelbook

I'm starting to have my doubts, FNAC will have a Special Edition that doesn't seem to be a SteelBook (it wouldn't be the first time we got a SteelBook artwork but no release):
