The quintet system actually really impressed me for what they are... but what they are is a flat-panel solution speaker... for people who suffer from the need to have everything small or wall mounted. Not that this is a bad thing, mind you. They seem to receive rather positive reviews, with the only comment being that the MSRP is too steep... however, if you want small, wall mountable speakers from Klipsch, I would recommend a different system, but it depends if they will fit into your budget.

The Cinema 8 Package

Consists of 4x RSX4 satellite speakers (FL,FR,SL,SR), RCX4 Center channel, and RPW10 Subwoofer

OR

Cinema 10 Package

4x RSX5 satellites, RCX 4 Center and RW10d subwoofer

Though these systems use satellites instead of flat style speakers, they will give quite a bit better performance for the money in my experience with them... But there are plenty of other, non-Klipsch satellite and flat-panel systems out there.

EDIT: Just found this on 6ave....
Denon AVR2309CI and Cinema 8 package for $1417.00

Marantz SR5003 and Cinema 8 package for $1455.00

Yamaha RX-C663BL (with iPod dock) and Cinema 8 package for $1312.95

well i was actually only looking for a 2.1 for my bedroom but then i saw the quintet sl. I wasnt looking for a 5.1 or a new receiver so i dont have a budget right now if i do i guess i would say around $1200 with receiver and everything. Yes my living room is i guess medium size, is more in a rectangle shape and a square shape.

That's pretty much what I did. I don't have the Quintet SL's, I have the Quintet III's which are cheaper then the SL's.

I move mine to the rear like you said and added the F2's, I then later changed out my center channel for the C3.

I have pic's in the gallery if you want to check out how I have it installed.

Well I'm not banging both of them hard; I actually have them turned down. I like how they feel the room and the bass response I get from them.

I would say go hear it for yourself and then make that decision. I'm a little pissed about Circuit City where I live... I went to the store today to check out something and they were cleaned out, I mean nothing was there. I couldn't believe it; so many people were driving up as I was walking from the door.

I have read a few review's saying how much better the (Sub-12, Sub-10) are a great improvement over the (KSW-12, KSW-12).

Also the Watts are greater on both the Sub-10, 12 over the KSW model's

I have the Quintet SL's, I really like them....it was an upgrade from a Yamaha HTIB, have them paired with a SUB-12. I like the sound, size, and they dont need a ton of juice to run them.
