Arnold Schwarzenegger Joins Slyvester Stallone’s The Expendables

WOW. Just when you thought Slyvester Stallone couldn’t pack more action heroes in his upcoming action film The Expendables, AICN breaks the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined the cast. But before you get too excited, we must warn you that it’s only a cameo. Arnold is only filming one day, and he will be playing himself - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. So don’t expect to see Arnold getting his hands dirty. Also, Eric Roberts has apparently replaced Ben Kingsley as CIA agent Monroe.

The cast now includes Mickey Rourke, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Forest Whitaker, Eric Roberts and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film tells the story about an “expendable” team, hired to do jobs that no one else can or will. The team is sent to infiltrate a South American country to overthrow the ruthless dictator and liberate the country.

I believe Forrest Whitaker is involved as well and there's been rumors of Sandra Bullock possibly joining. So far, we know Jean Claude Van Damme opted out of the pic. It's interesting that he got Schwarzenegger.

I was just about to post this! I couldn't fight a huge smile when I saw the news, but I have to say I was seriously let down when I saw it was just a cameo. I was hoping we'd finally get the Sly/Arnie pic everybody's always wanted. Too bad he's not the villain . . .

That would be the first time those two appear in the same movie I think. Just checked IMDB and the terminator does not yet appear in that movie list of actors. I suppose the news is too fresh and that he will soon.

I won't miss this for the world when it comes out, just to see those two in the same frame, hehe

He's big in the supplement/bodybuilding industry. I saw him in person at one of the Arnold Classic.

Sylvester Stallone Arrested in Japan on Drug Possession Charge

Action hero Sylvester Stallone’s ex-fiancee, Janice Dickinson, has revealed that Japanese authorities recently arrested him for being in possession of growth hormone.

She says that the muscle-building drug recovered from Stallone was the same for which he was convicted in Australia last February.


"Stallone was recently arrested in Japan for growth hormones," Contactmusic quoted her as telling the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.

Dickinson says that Stallone has still not mended his ways.

She had recently revealed on a television show in the US that Stallone once injected her in the arm while she was asleep.

The ‘Rocky’ star, however, vehemently refuted Dickinson’s allegation calling her a “liar”, for which the latter is demanding an apology.

Dickinson has threatened to spill the beans about Stallone’s past if he does not apologise.

"If he doesn't shut his big mouth, I'm going to really tell everybody what he did to me. If he doesn't retract calling me a liar, I'm going to really talk - and he doesn't want that, so he'd better make nice...," she said.

A representative for Stallone has declined to comment on Dickinson's allegations.

I hate to say it, but these guys all need to go away. They are way past their prime and can't act worth a darn. As much as I love Sly for Rocky and Rambo, I think he needs to realize it's time to call it quits.

He admitted to it after the filming of Rambo was done with. Yes, only roids make your veins stick out like that, and makes another "vein" less visible.

No, not really. I am into Bodybuilding myself and there are supplements you can take that make your veins stick out like that, but it's also a matter of your particular physiology and how close your veins are to the skin.
