I love my Blu Ray of Goodfellas..I think the PQ is a definite upgrade..But i thought i hear rumblings of a re release with a better video transfer..is this true?

If this is true, and there is a new lossless soundtrack this time around, it will be a day-one buy for me. Where did you hear these "rumblings?"

I haven't bought Goodfellas yet; the 2 disc special edition DVD was the last DVD I bought (before buying my first Blu-ray) and I paid more than the Blu-ray costs.

Want HD audio, I will wait.

Most DVDs have upgraded rereleases, special editions, collector editions, annivrsary editions. I'm sure the studios will do the same with blu-ray. Maybe next year, we can get the 20th anniversary of Goodfellas.
