I love Dirty Harry but come on Hackman and Friedkin ya its a no brainer to pick "The French Connection".

I'd pick this up, but the review was less than complimentary. A shame really, because I really wanted this on BD.

Billy Jack is obviously the lesser film here....but I loved watching him kick ass back then.

Haven't seen that film in years, but remember watching it a few times. Great entertainment value!

It would be nice to have a Blu Ray version of Billy Jack,it looks like one is in the works,we shall see!!! No full frame version please!!!

I split my vote between Dirty Harry and Billy Jack. Loved both of them. I liked the other Dirty Harry films more than the Billy Jack ones though.

Hmm, it's not clear-cut for me. I had forgotten all about Billy Jack but back when I saw it, I really liked it (even though I'm pretty sure I only saw it on TV). I don't really remember seeing (or maybe I just didn't like) Dirty Harry when I was younger. In recent years though and until this thread, Billy Jack had faded from memory and now I'm enjoying most of the Dirty Harry movies. I voted for Billy Jack but to be sure I'd probably need to see it again to see how I feel about it these days.

Same here. I didn't vote cause I don't see the point. I love all three of these films for both different and similar reasons. All three offer great action and storyline, French Connection is a revered Classic at this point, Dirty Harry is a lesser classic, but nonetheless a classic in its own right. A great movie. Billyjack is more of a cult classic, campy and seriously dated in dialogue and storyline, (can we say hippies? Hippies Vs. Right wingers?) it is still a terrific watch and one of those fun campy movies that is great for a late night viewing or a rainy afternoon!
