This poll may generate a bit of controversy. Be civil.

I am a fan of Moore. I recognize his films are more cinematic op-ed pieces than strict "documentaries," but they are so entertaining and persuasive. And I almost always agree with his overall sociopolitical message.

Sicko is my favorite Moore film, followed by Bowling for Columbine and Roger & Me, then Fahrenheit 9/11 and Capitalism: A Love Story.

I wasn't too fond of Canadian Bacon, his foray into non-documentary filmmaking.

I really enjoyed Roger and Me, but I have to go with Bowling for Columbine, which I just think was very well put together.

There's no doubt that Moore skews things to fit his own perspective. At the same time, it's obvious that he really does care about helping people.

This is so true.

It's interesting: his detractors regard him as an out-of-touch liberal elitist (a "Hollyweird," to use a term I've heard a handful of times), but every movie he does is, in essence, a romantic, Rockwellian paen to the American working class and their struggles.

One would be hard-pressed to find a film more "ma-and-pa-apple-pie-American" than Roger & Me, IMO.

I agree. I don't watch his films for the politics, but I know they're there. I watch them for their interesting topics. Def agree on Roger and Me.

None of the above, as they are all highly-fictionalized garbage.

Sicko was cool. Although Fahrenheit 9/11 did include that great musical number, Let the Eagle Soar, by John Ashcroft.

Canadian Bacon which is actually a film instead of being a one-trick pony which is making political documentary garbage.

That one where he's really Rush Limbaugh in disguise. Oh wait, that was not one of his movies.

Almost embarrased to say I'm from the same state as this guy.

Ummm not so much. So much more truth than an average day on Fox News. Fahrenheit 9/11 is the most entertaining (IMO) and is about 80% spot on.

Farenhype 9/11 in which the film clips Moore used in his film are shown in context and shows how much a piece of crap Moore's film is.

Also, An American Carol, starring Kevin Farley (Chris' brother) as Michael Malone (really Moore), Kelsey Grammer, Robert Davi, Dennis Hopper, Jon Voight, etc.
