They were dumb@$$ to sign him after all of the crap he's done, they deserve him losing them a few key games.

NOTE: I'm not in agreement with what he did, cause there's no one in the NHL that I hate more, but seriously... Avery's anticts just getting to you now? He's been doing this his whole career....

He's right up there with Pronger for me, it makes me sick that a player like Pronger is still sought after as a player {after wanting badly to get traded out of Edmonton, head checking that one player during the finals a couple years back, etc. etc. etc.} it also makes me ill that he has a Stanley Cup ring.

Last yr, when he acted like a complete dolt infront of Brodure, that was just bad, but didn't cost the team anything.

When you punch goalies in the face after the play, punch guys in the face on a routine icing play, and highstick guys with 3 minutes left that all lead to penalties, you're not doing your team any good.

He took 2 stupid penalties that could of cost them the game. Ovechkin hit the post on the second.

I couldn't agree more! I hate the clown, he's bad for the game. Howver, I can't figure out how the GM/Coach/Owners let this guy play. Playoff time is money in the bank in any sport. The deeper the better (don't think durrrrtay).

I've worked with guys who've lost there jobs for making smaller mistakes.

Funny how that series contains Avery, the guy everybody hates for his inappropriate antics, and Alexander Ovechkin, the guy who for some reason people are disliking for his celebrations.

*shrugs*

Hopefully the Caps can pull through though, I have no interest in a Rangers/Boston matchup.

I love player celebrations. When they are creative, I laugh, when they are brutal I laugh...AT THE PLAYER.

Just like the NFL...it adds to the game. The No Fun League should really stop fining players for there celebrations.

the rangers are up in the series for 2 reasons, none of which has ANYTHING to do with @sshole avery. hes just a punk that will get whats coming to him real soon because the whole league hates him.

1) henrik is top notch in net every game. he has to be or these games would be blowouts. caps are DESTROYING them in shots on goal.

2) ranger PK is doing well.

I agree 100%, and these are the same 2 things the Rangers rode into the playoffs on. So it appears they are playing to their strengths, and we all know what hot goaltending can do in the playoffs.....

That guy couldn't possibly getting paid enough. How could you explain/defend his crap?

My wife knows nothing about hockey, but she has somehow found out about him and his crap and called him a real p***k last night after seeing what he did on the icing play...and she is an elementary school teacher and never, never says anything bad about anyone...
