So I figure I would keep everyone updated on my travels.

My itinerary so far:

1. Wed 18th March - London, UK to Beijing, China.
   
2. Wed 27th May - Singapore City, Singapore to Sydney Australia.
   
3. Tue 8th December - Sydney, Australia to Tokyo, Japan.
   
4. Mon 4th January - Tokyo, Japan to London, UK.

In detail:

1. The trip from Beijing to Singapore will be mostly overland by bus and train, three weeks on the mainland via Shanghai to Hong Kong. From HK I will take a flight to Hanoi, when I will travel overland by bus/train/motorbike to Bangkok, Thailand via Cambodia. From there I will travel by rail to Kuala Lumpur, and then bus it to Singapore City. The whole part of the trip will take just over two months with Vietnam getting three weeks.

2. In Sydney I will be working :'(. Though I have only got a job for 4 1/2 months out of 6 so it leaves me with 5-6 weeks of travel time. In that time I will go to Ayers Rock, Brisbane, Melbourne and the Whitsundays. I will be doing this portion with my lovely girlfriend.

3. Japan, unfortunately due to the nature of my job I have a few meetings to attend, nothing interesting. I have been to Japan a couple of times before, but I really want to venture outside of Tokyo as I went on business trips to just Tokyo . So I was thinking Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto and Mt. Fuji. I will be spending new years in Tokyo, I have already booked my hotel, I will be spending new years with the gf, she's flying to Tokyo on the 26th and back with me on the 4th.
