Default If you had to live without cable or internet, which do you pick?

Just curious. My cable went out today and I'm devastated. I mean what is this world coming to? Is there no end?

Anyway, I realized I probably need TV more than Internet.

How about you?

I picked you're an idiot for making me choose. But I could probably live without internet more than cable because some Spurs games are on FSN or TNT. Thanks for putting that option though.

Internet for me.

I watch little to no TV. In fact, I'm in the process of dumping my cable anyway. It costs me $130/mth and I don't feel it's worth it. During the course of a week, I might watch 2 - 3 hours of television.

Internet as well, as much as I love some shows and football, I use the Internet pretty much every single day. Plus I could still watch most of the Cowboys games without cable anyways.

Tough call. I do a lot work from home (as well as farting around) and the internet is a big part of that. When it comes to my cable/satellite, though, I'd say 50% of the reason I went HD and redid my entire setup is because I love to watch my sports in the evenings -- most notably my local teams (Warriors, A's/Giants, Raiders/Niners). The other 50% of the change is so I could go Blu and really upgrade my home movie watching experience.

You're an idiot for making me choose.

LOL - happy to oblige. What's a pool without fun options where people can anonymously call me an idiot?

If forced to choose, I would rather have internet over cable.

Word. I'd need the internet for porn and to see what movies are coming. You can't find out what movies are coming out on Blu-Ray with cable.

I could live without cable because I can still put up rabbit ears and get the local stuff. The internet is too wonderful to give up and with Netflix streaming tv shows and movies I'd be okay...

I could live without cable.....the internet almost has as much access to TV programming as cable provides.

I can't get cable in the rural area where I live. I dumped Dish Network months ago and don't miss it at all.

I have cable internet.

If you mean TV programing vs internet - I'll keep internet.
I can deal with "Day Late" TV shows via downloads.
