Post Help with Picture Settings for Samsung LCD TV

Does anyone have accurate/calibrated picture settings for the Samsung LN46A580 LCD HDTV? If you do, please reply. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can go to www.tweaktv.com. They have calibration for different models. Hope this help.

Another option is to buy "VIDEO ESSENTIALS" which helps you calibrate your TV...no matter what the model is, 2 identical TV's could be calibrated differently....good luck!

here are a couple you can start with. i pulled these from avsforum and use a modified version of each for my ln52a550 (standard mode for cable, movie mode for blu-ray/ps3). note that each set is different so use this as a starting point and adjust to your liking.

WHITE BALANCE

R-Offset = 26
G-Offset = 25
B-Offset = 22
R-Gain = 30
G-Gain = 25
B-Gain = 25

PICTURE OPTIONS

Color Tone = Warm 2
Digital N/R = Off
HDMI Black Level = Low (actually it's disabled when playing Blu-ray) <-- set this according to your source! If you use a PC, or a PS3/Xbox360 with expanded RGB levels, you might need to set this to normal!
Film Mode = off (disabled)
Blue Mode = Off

Energy Saving = Medium
Entertainment modes = Off

Thanks to all of you for your replies. Again, your help is greatly appreciated. I am going to get the DVE disc and try to calibrate my TV myself. If I don't like the result I might just hire a professional (preferably from ISF) to adjust my TV for me.

tv settings for calibration should be posted in their respective thread that crackin set up. have a look should be able to find some other users settings
