Hi there,

Does anyone know if the movie "Chocolat (2000)" with Johnny Depp & Juliette Binoche and Judy Dench is scheduled for release on our most favourite medium.

Most unfortunately there are no plans as of this moment about a possible BD release. Hopefully Miramax would bring it to the US market in 2009.

That's a Alliance title. It is not sure whether this is a region free title or not. The rights for the US are with MiraMax (as stated above).

In the Netherlands the rights used to be with RCV, who do support the Blu Ray format. Unfortunately they do not have many titles on the releaselist at the moment. However it might be that the rights are now with Disney Home Entertainment over here. A couple of titles which were released by RCV are bought by Disney. If this is one of those is unknown.

I thought there were plans for France, but I am not sure.

According to IMDB it state's
"RCV Home Entertainment (2008) (Netherlands) (DVD)"

So we'll keep on hoping.
