Yeah, I'd never heard of him either. But William Hurt will be playing him in the movie, which means you'll at least feel the pride of an American taking his place among the Aussies and Brits taking the main roles here. THR notes that the movie just started filming, which means it won't be long before we have some set photos that give us a better idea of exactly what Ridley Scott has in mind here.

So to recap...we have Russel Crowe, Cate Blanchett, and now William Hurt (am I missing anyone big?). Awesome.

William Hurt is great. Best thing about this movie is Ridley Scott's doing it. Very excited for this movie.

The casting for this movie is becoming more and more interesting, I was glad to see the addition of Cate Blanchett, I like her.

I think it was Sienna Miller.
