Default Ghosting on First Blood?

So I bought the Rambo 1-3 box-set and the other night I watched the first one. Well throughout the whole movie there was ghosting or whatever it's called. Like when someone would move their head in the movie there would be a little transparent streak that followed. I tried the other 2 and they were perfectly fine. I know it's not my tv, cause everything still looks great and all my other BDs look fantastic too. I'm using a 40gb PS3 and a Samsung LN-T3242H with an HDMI cable. Has anyone else had this problem?

It's the DNR my friend. First Blood has some of the worst digital ghosting/smearing I've seen on BD.

The First Blood Blu-ray in the boxset is just the same disc that was released a long time ago. Heavy DNR and a somewhat shoddy compression job. The second and third Rambos look much better as they are newly done Blu-rays.

I agree with blu style I had no problems at all with it running it on a ps3 through HDMI if that matters

No, even the import HD DVD puts the BD to shame. They really should have remastered it for the box set release. Very disappointing. I sold mine a month ago because I couldn't stand to watch it again (i.e. the disc, not the film.) In fact, I skipped the recent digital screening at my local movie house because I suspected they would use the same transfer.

So that's the effects of this DNR I keep hearing about? that's sad! it really is distracting while watching it. I hope a new version comes out cuz I'd gladly buy another copy so I don't have to watch that ghosting. I wonder if they'll ever do an extended version?

DNR also removes detail. Completely counter-productive to a high-def format like Blu-ray.
