X-Men The Last Stand

I recently bought xmen 1 on dvd to check it out

And I loved it, but I want to see the next 2 before the new one comes out. The blu rays come out in the u.k on 20th april. I am trying to minimise cost as much as possible, should I bother getting the new edition The Last Stand or just get the older one cheaper

The old X-men 3 will probably be cheaper, if it isn't already. Plus, lots of people will want to trade in there old copies when the new one comes out. So, you might pick it up for even less used.

The old X3 received very good PQ and AQ scores when reviewed here. It also has a 6.1 DTS ES HD master audio and the new one has, I think, only 5.1? The old one has some bonus material too (2 film commentary tracks, deleted scenes, trivia track). However, the new X3 will have much more bonus content.

If cost is a priority, then go for the old X3. If you want all the extra bonus content then buy new.

Do you want all three x-men on blu-ray by any chance or just all the x-men 2 and 3 now.

I have the old X-Men 3 but decided to buy the box set and then decide what X-3 disk to keep since the the box set was only a few quid more then buying two on their own.
