just saw it on dvd and the film to me is a classic action fight movie. so i searched up whos the distrubitor of this film since i want it in blu.. the company is tristar... hmmm is tristar under lead of any of the blus exclusive companys? or are they independant and neutral? hoping for some feedback.

Actually, Artisan distributed Universal Soldier on DVD domestically. Which means Lions Gate would be the studio to release it. Still Blu-ray though. TriStar was the theatrical distributor only. Sony did US The Return as well, which from memory wasn't a half bad follow-up. But, it's been awhile and I've only seen it once.

Timecop's Universal so we may have to wait a little longer for that one.

eeyala, Peter Jackson's King Kong and Serenity are Universal but the others should make their way to Blu-ray soon.

I think they will release all van damme movies when Blu-ray has their own bargain bin at wal-mart
