Seeing it on Monday. Just like with Crank, Crank 2 will be some good turn brain off, mindless action fun!

Not the smartest movie ever made but I think it was pleasant and entertaining to watch, I mean the first Crank. I expect something similar from the sequel. Will see when it is released over here.

You will have to see the movie!

I thought that the sequel was definitely weaker than the first. It is still one hell of a ride though.

My favourite part was John De Lancie ('Q' from Star Trek: The Next Generation). I couldn't help but feel overjoyed at seeing him oscreen again.

It was pretty hot...but seriously, what's with parents bringing their 4 year old to see this movie? I'm like what the hell is wrong with these people?

It is called "suspension of disbelief". Liked the movie...J.S. fans won't be disappointed.

That's not what he asked.

I loved it. It was crazy, unrealistic, and completely fun to watch - just like the first one!

Hilarious...

Quote:
Ranking sixth for the weekend, Crank: High Voltage yanked an estimated $6.5 million from around 2,400 screens at 2,223 venues, which was a bit more than Shoot 'Em Up but far below the first Crank ($10.5 million) among like-minded movies. This type of gruesome but cheeky action picture rarely fares well, and High Voltage's advertising displayed the movie as essentially a rehash of the first Crank. A modest amount of moviegoers already had their fix with that picture and there was no compelling reason to have a second injection.

What really cracks me up is how defenders of these types of films are almost ALL saying the same line over and over when defending it...."I'll just turn my brain off...etc..blah...blah..etc..etc..." The same mantra over and over.

He's done some good films like lock stock and two smoking barrels and bank job.

Jason Statham has a name but none of his films are box office sensations. I didn't link Crank, but i'd be surprised if we didn't see a third.

He lost to Hannah Montana, a Zac Efron movie, Monsters vs. Aliens, State of Play AND the 3rd weekend for Fast and Furious 3 of those 5 movies weren't even the target audience this movie should have landed. Hope this smashes the idea for anymore. This should be as embarrassing to him as that time 50 Cent's gangsta movie lost at the box office to Chicken Little. And in this case, he got his ass stomped by the High School Musical star and Hannah Montana.

To be fair that is pretty big competition.

Even if everyone is convinced only tweens and teens care about 17 Again and Hannah Montana, it still means parents who otherwise might have seen Crank 2 were busy with the kids.
