despite the acclaim the full monty has garnered this is a film I do not need on blu ray....all that man-ass in high definition, no thanks.

The release in Germany and Spain is region free so I don't see it being any different in the U.K.

has anyone watched the blu ray cannot find any blu ray reviews anywhere online picture quality ? audio quality ?
i want to buy but if no better quality than dvd then wont bother

The P/Q isn't bad at all,definitely worth an upgrade,I can't comment on the A/Q at this moment in time as I watched it upstairs using just the TV speakers as I am waiting on a new set for the living room.

Does anyone know if the UK Blu-ray contains both the British and American language soundtracks? The UK SE DVD included the latter on a 2.0 surround channel and gave the UK track a 5.1 mix.

No I'm afraid the only audio options are:English,Espanol,Portugues,Italiano,Castellano, and Arabic....I think....it's a squiggly line of some sort.

Thanks for checking! It doesn't seem likely that Fox will release it anytime soon in the US. Plus, the UK appears like it has the best collection of extras (ported over from the DVD). Does the UK Blu have English subs on the extras?

Yes it does,I didn't go through them all but the few random extra's I did check were available with subs.
