supposed to be coming soon, maybe end of the year or early next. Cameron stated that he's been working on remastering Abyss and True Lies ever since Avatar ended its theatrical run. Patience, grasshopper.

Hey thanks. I've been wondering about TRUE LIES as well. Sounds like very good news.

The BD better have that awesome documentary from the 2-Disc DVD. I might actually enjoy the doc more than the movie. It's always been one of my favorite DVD's.

I would love to get this movie on BD. Ever since I found out the scene with the rat breathing liquid oxygen is real I've wanted to watch this movie again. It's been years. A BD would be a pleasant addition to my collection.

Yes! Under Pressure is still my favorite "making of" documentary.

Yea, this is at the very top of my wish list.

He had better get these two taken care of before he starts making any more movies.

I haven't seen it in years. Is that the one where Mary Mastrantonio threw a tantrum??

I have this on DVD but not watched it yet (ever) - should I watch theatrical or special edition first?

I prefer the extended cut any day. I don't think the ending really makes any sense plot-wise or thematically in the theatrical cut. There are a bunch of other nice new scenes and added SFX as well.

But that's just what I think; some folks don't seem to enjoy it that much (I think somebody told me he found it too unbelievable and weird). At the very least, it's worthwhile watching once, and if you dislike it, you can re-watch it as the theatrical cut instead.

Yea, what Al said. Watch the 'special edition' and do not even bother with theatrical.

This movie is one of my top 5 favorite.
