does anyone know where can I order the Nordic Blu-ray of season 3 to be shipped to germany? it seems I can only get the UK BD here, whenever I try a store from the nordic countries then I need to be a resident of that country/have an address there.

Try SUBDVD. Couldn't find a search function on their site but they ship worldwide - I received A Serbian Film ok from them. Maybe drop their owner (Nicholas) an e-mail see if they stock it, or try to browse through their collection.

they seem to have only movies there (well and erotic, documentaries, but no TV shows)

any particular reason? Arrow did good on the 3rd season by giving it 3 discs and 5.1 audio.

What is the correct frame rate for this show? The UK blu-rays are 1080i (presumably 25frames at 50i), but if you look on the pages for the swedidh and danish releases they say they are 1080p, so 24 fps? So which is the correct frame rate? What was the show shot at? I dont now the standard for places other than the UK or US.

Scandinavia like the UK would almost certainly shoot at 25fps for TV. Most other TV shows there on BD are also 25fps encoded as 50i.

Thank you! I'll just assume the pages for the Swedish and Danish releases on this website have incorrect info on them then - Some of the Doctor Who UK pages say 1080p despite being 1080i also, so it wouldn't be the first time.

So I should be fine getting the UK set then? Will most likely get 1-4 when it's released

The Swedish releases for s1 and s2 have 5.1 audio, unfortunately both the UK s1 and s2 only have a 2.0 track. But the Swedish release for s2 isn't English friendly (s1 is though).

That's a bummer. I'm not too fussed about audio though, as long as the picture is the best, I'm fine. Are both lossless, do you know? Like HD audio, just without the extra channels.

Yes PCM on the UK discs (for s1 and 2) and DTS-HD on the swedish discs.

I watched a making of that aired on Swedish TV aound the tine of the second season and when the camera came upon the monitors it displayed it being shot at 25fps. That is no guarantee that what ended up on the Scandinavian BDs were 1080i/50 Hz mind you but that was how it was shot. I don't care enough for Bron to buy it, much less watch it so couldn't verify local BD specs.

Anyone know if Season 2 is available on Blu-ray from anywhere with both 5.1 lossless and English subtitles? And region B friendly.

The only one in DTS 5.1 seems to be the Scandanavian set, but there's no English subs.

The Arrow S1&2 set pictured in the first post of this thread has DTS-HD master audio on the second season (PCM on the first), but it's only in stereo.

I presume you've now got a better sound system than five years ago. Back then you weren't fussed about the audio.

Yup! Haha
I just got the complete UK set as it was going super cheap on Amazon (£17 something) and tried out the discs thinking they may have included new discs of S1 & S2 (the disc art for all four seasons are the same, and the backcover says DTS HD 5.1 but doesn't say specific seasons, so I thought there may be a chance)

As nitin said in a post from a few years ago though, the Swedish Season 1 release is English friendly and includes the DTS HD 5.1; it's just Season 2 that's the problem.

This series is so damn good. I started watching this in December and have just started season 3.

Don't know why it took me so long to watch this. Probably because I thought this is just yet another scandinavian crime series. But boy I was wrong.

Broen is some of the most intense stuff I've watched in a long time. Paired with the dark yet very funny scandinavian humor and the great chemistry between the detectives this is simply such a pleasure to watch.

Sofia Helin and Kim Bodnia are both acting so damn good.

I bought the complete scandinavian Blu-ray set which is perfect for me as the Swedish dialogue is subtitled but the Danish not.

PQ and AQ is also very nice and starting S3 there's a clear uptick to the picture. Also the disk menu is done much nicer from S3.

I loved the first two seasons, and then lost interest. It was just not the same without Martin, and I found the guy who replaced him really annoying. I've not bothered with the fourth season, so I'm not sure how that one fares.

One of the best thrillers/detective shows I've seen in the past few years. Sofia Helin is just incredible. Season 3 was my favorite but they're all really good. Can't recommend this enough.
