Interesting, supposed to start airing on December 2nd and 9 more episodes until the 13th, then s1 is out a month later. Almost seems like Universal is trying to get rid of it ASAP.

The preview for this on SyFy's site doesn't look very inspiring. I hope its better than it comes off there.

Wow, that is super fast. It's like the exact opposite of Happy!, where we've been waiting for pretty much a whole f**king year for a disc release for that. Can you please get consistent, Universal? Is that so hard?

It's more that they're taking an "all of the above" approach to its release. They're debuting it on streaming at the same time it airs, too. It actually makes more sense to release titles on disc closer to their airdates to capitalize on viewer interest. Frankly, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Really enjoyed this. Not fantastic, but production value was great and terrific cast. If you like this also check out Origin (2018)

Am I the only one put off by the lack of digital copies being provided in recent TV releases? What's my incentive to buy it today instead of waiting til it goes on sale for 1/2 the cost? I don't think TV/Movie studios really grasp how much impact that has on new release sales.

With the lack of Movies Anywhere having a component for TV, I believe some studios are walking away from keeping digital copies for TV shows. It’s double cold for Universal since most of thier TV shows are now being “MOD.”

Dang, chicks seem to F everything up in this season. I enjoyed it, but there are too many unstable characters behind the wheel of the most important discovery in history. Smart people sure are dumb.

This show is an enigma to me. Not quite sure how I actually feel about it. To me the premise and story line are very interesting but I find none of the characters to be particularly likable. It's hard to maintain interest when I don't care what happens to any of the characters.

I care about Rowan, he was a person of simple needs.

Wouldn't mind seeing the '87 movie adaptation on something other than VHS.

I mean, we have Star Crystal on blu-ray, and it looks pretty darned good too. If we can get Star Crystal, we should be able to get Nightflyers.
