24: Season 7 audio - Blu-ray Forum

I have to admit, I am a bit shocked to see this positive reviews for the audio for 24. Having watched every episode this season, I was never that impressed with this years DD.

Great to hear that the DTSMA is kicking butt!!

I am curious the layman's view on the DTSMA tracks they are hearing and comparing it to the broadcast DD?

The broadcast DD is very compressed and I didn't hear much in terms of surround activity or LFE. The funny thing is that the DVDs had excellent DD 5.1 tracks though. I have yet to see the BD but I'm sure the DTS-MA will be an improvement over the HD broadcast.
