I bailed on that series after Blade 2. None of the sequels were worth a fart. The original movie was a pretty good (one of the first movies I bought on DVD).

I would honestly love a new Blade movie, only with Snipes though.
The series would have been great if Snipes had been in it.
They need to make a good new movie and pretend the third did not exist.
(I likes Snipes in 3, I loved Biel in 3, I liked Reynolds alot in 3 also but the story and the guy from John Doe and Prison Break was just horrible)
The first was so great because it was "realistic", it was a world in our world.
The second went too far away from that, futuristic but it was still a good delivery so it was still a good movie but I would like one closer to the first though.

Default Blade 4

If Jessica Biel is in it, I'll be there.

Didn't he wind up in lockdown? He probably needs a cake with a hacksaw baked into it.

I agree with you wholly but you forgot to mention Parker Posey. She was horrible in that film. I usually like her in about anything, but she really seemed almost annoyed to be in the film.

As for a 4th, bring back Snipes, Renyolds & Beil and I'd give it a shot.

WB has owned New Line for some years now. It's not really new information.

That aside, I'd like to see another Blade movie with Wesley. 1 was awesome and 2 was pretty good. 3 was forgettable

Since we're on vampires, I watched 30 days of night (blu, of course) the other day. I had heard good things about it so I picked it up. It started out so promising but (forgive my analogy) it blew it's wad way too early and tried to ride the wave for the rest of the movie.

The last half of the movie seemed kind of empty and, to me, disappointing.

I'd love to see a 3 that was as good as 2. 2 ddi what the best sequels do, build on and ramp up rather than repeating

What was being alluded to I believe is the fact that New Line has Snipes on the sh*t list due to a lawsuit that Snipes brought on.
Now thatthey are out of the equation it is at least more of a possibility.

I like the Blades series primarily because they didn't cop out and go the PG-13route for any of them. IMO a lot of these comic book adapted movies need to stop catering to the younger PG & PG-13 crowd. I know it's all about the money but it sucks IMO. Then again they did go the rated R route with the Punisher and they screwed that all to hell.

Highly doubtful since the last one was the final film.

The 3rd was my favorite of the three. It was great as they all were.

You've got to be kidding me. The 3rd Blade film was utter crap. My favorite was the 2cnd one because it built very well and the action content was top notch. I really like the 1st Blade film as well, but they shot their wad too early (the Bloodrave scene...still one of my favorite movie scenes ever) and the rest of the film couldn't quite live up to the energy of the beginning of the film. (the director even admitted to this point in an interview)

I would love to see a 4th film if only to erase the travesty that was Blade 3.

For the record, the Series kicked ass. Even without Snipes.
