BD movies, where are they?

So whats the deal. I came up with a list of movies that I would want to watch on BD, and of 7 I think I found 3 on best buys website and even then, you cant order them or they are not in the store...... Long story short, whats the deal on these movies and what takes them so long to produce the BD version? Here's my list. Breach, The Recruit, Blood Diamond, Spy Game, Rescue Dawn, Into the Wild, Lord of War

As was mentioned above, all those movies are already out except Breach, which is coming later this year.

Why not try searching first before whining?

Where is SCARFACE this movie should be coming out they bring out all of these other movies that SUCK and not the good ones.

Scarface is coming, you people have no patience. Do you honestly think they will not release one of their most popular catalog titles on the new format?

Yeah, always search on this site or simply on amazon for any current blu-ray releases (blu-ray.com is the best for looking at upcoming releases), not sure why amazon wasn't checked at all if there was any chance of ordering online...I can understand that some people don't want to order things online, but if you're already checking bestbuy.com...check amazon

If you're referring to the Paul Muni movie..... I'm anxiously awaiting it also....

If you're talking about the remake with Al Pacino.... I'll certainly pick it up.


and as far as those movies that "SUCK" perhaps people like different movies???? I know for a fact that many people think the 80's Scarface "SUCKS" I didn't have to go past the first movie in your collection to find one that I thought "SUCKED" and I'd venture to say that quite a few of the movies you own suck in my opinion

The format is still incredibly young. Be patient - the studios are pumping out dozens of new and catalog titles each week. It's not gonna happen overnight, it's just not possible or even reasonable to expect that.

Why not look forward to what's coming, instead of whining about what's not out yet?

Universal released several titles today that I'm looking forward to eventually picking up, as well as more next week.

I don't have the least bit of interest in "Scarface". It's a popular film, so it will eventually be released, BUT will not be added to my collection.

Different strokes for different folks... hence Universal's constant release slate of movies that "suck."
