Default Blu-ray through my plasma

Hello all i have a acer laptop with blu ray built in.
I have a nvidia 9500gs graphics with 512 mb delicated memory.
My tv is a panasonic plasma 42 inch.

Ok my problem is i can play blu ray through the pc but i can not get the graphic to work when the pc gets connected to the tv also i dont get sound through the tv.

Is this just a basic problem or is some thing wrong, please help

Open the nVidia Control Panel and see if it is seeing the TV when connected.
Also, some laptops have a key compination to select what display to use - these Sonys use Fn + F7.

REMEMBER: use only one or the other display.
HDCP only want's one display for Blu-ray playback at a time.

Sound, depending on the player software, you may have to select the audio to use - speakers or HDMI.

And if it doesn't see the TV you can click on "My display is not shown in the list...". Try rigorous display detection...if nothing is found it will ask if you want to force television detection, say yes. As dadkins said, you can only have one display selected for HDCP reasons.
