New LOW Prices for PV Blus at Blockbuster!! **BIG UPDATE**

okay so you guys know the scoop, blockbuster comes out with a deal and i bring it to you. now in the absence of the 2 for 30 pre-viewed promo, blockbuster has decided to slashed prices on tons of their used blus and introduced a bunch of new low price points other than 19.99. this is an effort to give ppl great deals and also to stay competitive with lower blu market prices. will add more titles once they become available, but for now heres the list i came up with:

so thats pretty much a list of titles available at my store, keep in mind all stores will have different title stock and availability. also these prices can be further reduced by those of you who have those great coupons to use!

if you really care about the 2.00 you probably could go to Blockbuster and get a refund of the difference (if you recently bought it)

hey blurai, the $2 is a joke, gas is even more expensive. anyway, not sure if this is a repost, but how come blockbuses don't give the disc #2 or digital copies etc.

I tried that with Golden Compass a few months back and they wouldn't go for it -- "We don't price match our own prices!"

Also, doesn't BBV have a restocking fee if you return an item (if you plan on re-buying it)? I'm sure its on the back of the receipt...

when we receive the rental copies we are instructed to remove the dc's bcuz if we rent them out in the disc ppl can load them onto their comps and then "possibly" use that to distribute a pirated version of the films to friends, family etc. its essentially their method of piracy prevention. do i agree with it. NO. then again i dont care for DC's and just give the ones i get with my new blus away anyways so no complaints here. but i know quite a few ppl like them.

hmm.. see, this really depends on the situation. if you havnt opened it, you can return it and re-buy it at the new price. but once you've opened it "according to policy" we dont give you the diff, but if you get a nice person working the cash and its only 2 bucks, they'll probably give it to you in store credit. (thats what i'd do) but refunds are a definite no-no if the customers already opened it.

no, we arnt like the source, dont charge restocking fees for returning products. however once you've opened a product, we only do exchanges for the same title (if its defective) for previously viewed ones, we give you another copy of the same movie, but if we dont have another copy of the same film in, then the customer is allowed to exchange it for another title. on used stuff, i'l; just give the person the $3 or 4 difference. not a big deal. but for 2 bucks, i wouldnt waste my time and energy going back there (unless its on your way)

i believe our stores got the 3d version on bluray (but no 3D glasses with the movies) may have to buy them at a dollar store or something. but will have to double check that for ya cuz not 100% sure. funny i still have my 3D glasses from when i went to watch it in theaters. lol (strictly for the 3D experience, i knew the movie wasn't gonna be anything other than your traditional slasher/ horror flick) not too many good ones of those out these days
