Plus the US edition is around 8.99$ so your looking at about £5.60odd.

And the US cover is nicer.

I wonder if this has the uncut dialogue? Our DVD release had a small omission from James Cann (I think he said 'she's a crazy *****').

Oddly enough my DVD of the SE was the wrong version and I got the right dialogue which is present in other regions (I missed out on extras that were on the disc though).

It appears that Fox are finally releasing a number of titles in the UK that have been available elsewhere for a while. I hope we'll see Carrie soon.

1 Oct 2012?

I see no point in waiting when there is a perfectly good region-free US release available for a fair price.

Pheraps they're in no rush (otherwise im sure they would've imported it by now)?

Pheraps they want to support the UK market so that we pheraps once and for all stop being screwed over by studio's like Fox?

Its the cost of shipping though from the US which makes the deals less than stellar.

I doubt we will see Carrie or any else of the region A locked MGM titles (return of the living dead, invasion of the body..etc) anywhere soon. They have been released strictly for the US and no other countries have them released by MGM or any studio.

Does our Blu-ray have the dialogue cut like the DVD?

When James Caan lifts up the phone to find it doesn't have anything inside it he ays, 'You Crazy Bi*ch!' It's about 47:33 minutes through the film on the DVD but that's PAL speed.
