I have ps3movies.tv bookmarked on my PS3

I don't use my browser much but today I noticed ps3movies.tv bookmarked. So I went there and noticed a full screen advert for it.

I am not sure if I bookmarked it or if a firmware release put it there. It does not work on PC so I figure its the latter.

Anyone know anything about it?

Ill take a look when I get home I dont recall having anything like that bookmarked Usually I have this forum and several sets of web comics book marked.

Hmmm, a few weeks ago it was functional.

Was not on my bookmarks but it loaded a odd page that on the top right showed a movie it loaded slowly and constantly stopped.

On mine it says 2009 PS3movies.tv in HD. But there is no mention of anything else.

According to archives.org, the farthest backtrack that site has is Aug 2007.

What is ps3Movies.tv ?
- ps3Movies is a VOD (video on demand) and Live HD (High Definition) TV Station Plattform only for Sony Playstation 3.

Why?
- Cause we love developing and sitting in the living room to watch HD videos on our Plasma TV and PS3



Is ps3movies an offical Sony product?
- No. ps3movies.tv is not a sony product. Sony and PlayStation are registered trademarks of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.



Is it possible to start the Application on my PC or MAC?
- Simple answer is no. ps3movies.tv uses a lot of PS3 internal functions that only runs properly on the PS3.



What about Youtube Channels?
- ps3movies.tv uses the YouTube API for playing videos. We also use the internal RSX GPU Processor for High Quality video upscaling and image processing.


We are content owner and would like to have a channel on the ps3movies.tv. Is this possbile?
- Yes, you can run your own content channel. Please note that we dont accept Porn or Low Quality Videos (Screensize under HD 720p)
In the next weeks we offer an attractive channel partner program.


Is Livestreaming possible?
- Yes. Ps3movies supports Livestreaming at 720p Resolution. For this you need special Hardware that we offer to all channel partners.


Are there any more information available?
- No..Right now we are planing the plattorm with our channel partners and see how stable the CDN (Content Delivery Network) is. Watch out for more

If you don't know how to access the Youtube channels, just hold down the "x" button. From there, you can use your arrows to navigate. Then, release the "x" and tap it again to execute.
